Thievery Corporation (Washington DC)
As one o f he most influential and respected names on the electronic/dance music scene, Thievery Corporation also discovered their own breed of rebellion and innovation in committing themselves to a time-worn genre on 'Saudade.'
“We’re still chopping up beats, but this time we’re making them sound warm and vintage—which is not at all what’s happening in electronic music right,” says Hilton. “What we’re doing here is pretty traditional and timeless-sounding, and in that it’s completely contrarian.”
Slowdive is an English dram pop group that has been founded in 1989 in Berkshire. Group was disbanded in 1995 and got reunited in 2014. In early 1990’s, group became a part of Shoegazing (alternative rock sub genre) stream, and developed post-punk athmospheric oneform music in their latest albums.
Slowdive who attracts a mass crowd of fans across the world composes songs that are being told and shared, not just sang.
The effects of the albums that got out in 1991, 1993 and 1995 still keeps its sacredness , and the tones of the holy guitar proves they make absolute legacy with their music.
Great summer songs are many and varied, but here's another type of sunshine soundtrack, ideal for those slow, oddly still, slightly uneasy moments when you seek refuge from the heat in the shadows of the parks and side streets of London.
Ghostpoet's music is perfect for that atmosphere of muggy dread. He sounds like Dizzee on mogadon, or a half-asleep Streets.
YACHT (Los Angeles)
YACHT is a conceptual pop group based in Los Angeles, California. It’s the brainchild of Jona Bechtolt and Claire L. Evans, whose wide-ranging interests, cause YACHT to frequently metamorphose: from band to belief system, from disco infiltrators to punk rockers, from performance artists to graphic designers, publishers, sculptors, or philosophers.
“We want to keep everything as minimal as possible, except for the range of instruments.
Sometimes we travel to India to track down the right harmonium on which we play only one note for one song. It is kind of time-consuming, but we like to paint with all the colours available.”
Tosca is the joint musical project of Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber from Vienna, Austria.
The musical trademark of Tosca is a cheerful laid-back feel that emanate a warm, and occasionally melancholic atmosphere.
The music of Tosca is played in clubs and living rooms, boutiques and winerys alike. A feat that only few musicians succeed in.
Hollie Cook (United Kingdom)
Hollie Cook was born and bred in a household dominated by music. She gravitated to the sounds of Marc Bolan, David Bowie and The Cure. With Sex Pistols’ Paul Cook as her dad, music was always around.
She is very much her own person and her music is a fab mixture of bubblegum modern pop, cut and paste culture, great beats and a cheeky yet brilliant vocal delivery that somehow captures the zappy fun of modern life and also the darkness that lurks all around us.
Federico Aubele (Buenos Aires)
"I like working like a painter, by myself, in my atelier. Or like a writer. Technology now a days allows you to be the producer, writer and engineer" says Aubele "It's an intimate process for me, and I need to respect that intimacy. I can't work If I have people around, talking. For a lot of people, making music is a social experience, and that's fine, but it doesn't work like that for me. The social part for me comes afterwards, when I'm on stage performing with my band, in front of a crowd".
Aubele's hunting signature sound, with it's precise beats, scattered bandoneon samples, nylon string guitar, dark atmospherics and male and female vocal contrast give space this time also to several cinematic tripped out tango infused instrumentals.
Infinity Ink has taken a multitude of twists and turns en route to the present day.
Consisting of long-term friends Ali Love and Luca C, the duo’s musical voyage has spread from their early days in a variety of bands, through London’s vibrant nightlife, and further collaborations alongside The Chemical Brothers, Justice, Roisin Murphy, and Robert Owens, right up to their current work with Hot Natured (Ali and Luca are one half of the band), and the Crosstown Rebels and Hot Creations crews.
Their debut track ‘Games’ on Hot Creations was rooted with a funk-infused hypnotic bassline and immediately created a buzz around the project. Whilstbreakthrough single 'Infinity' has become an irrepressible juggernaut with total YouTube views now in excess of the 10 million mark.
Pantha Du Prince
Hendrik Weber once lived in the same woods that the Brothers Grimm fairy tales were based in, which perhaps explains the frequently strange and magical atmospheres to be found in much of his music. Under the pseudonym Pantha Du Prince, he fuses house, techno, shoegazy electronica and psychedelic electro-acoustic soundscapes into music that is at once both beautiful and bewitching.
For music is always already there, even without humans. On his new album, the producer and DJ, who lives in Berlin and Paris, claims: music slumbers in all matter; any sound, even silence, is already music. The mission, then, must be to render audible what is unheard and unheard of: black noise, a frequency that is inaudible to man.
Dorian Concept (Austria)
Dorian Concept is an Austrian composer, producer, and keyboard artist, whose work draws on an eclectic variety of sources including modal and free jazz, funk, hip-hop, and electronic, ambient, and soundscape music.
As an autodidact, he identifies funk, hip-hop, jazz, and electronica as the primary influences for his music. His music cannot easily be categorized, yet he has already developed his own, recognisable sound.
Their music derives from classical inspiration of both jazz and burlesque. They lay somewhere between minimal and jazz-house but to specify them in a single genre would be obscure as they incorporate sounds often left out in electronic music.
The duo has also expanded to accommodate their saxophonist Peter and guitarist Max, who have now become regulars at studio sessions and live sets. Although their core identity remains the same, they’ve currently been redirected towards a universe of deep and club.
Session Victim (Berlin)
You can’t see anyone with a more visceral connection with soul than Session Victim in the midst of a DJ set or live show.
Indeed, their current live set up seems to have tapped the duo deeper still into their energy reserves; the frenzied head banging added to the sight of two friends jamming like their lives depend on it making it all the more impossible to resist. The duo’s melodic yet groovy synthesis of deep house and nu-disco deftly references all the vintage goodness in soul, funk and jazz, igniting afterhours parties and finding its way into record crates on an international scale.
BaBa ZuLa is a Turkish alternative musical group, founded in Istanbul in 1996. With a wide variety of influences and a wide range of instruments, they create a unique psychedelic sound.
Described as "Turkey’s most beloved alternative music purveyors" BaBa ZuLa create a unique psychedelic sound, combining Traditional Turkish instruments, electronica, reggae and dub. The core of their sound is the saz, a Turkish bouzouki-like stringed instrument with a bright, high-pitched sound.
Nuno Dos Santos (Netherlands)
This Portugal-born Dutch national has a charm about him that is difficult to escape and that works so well in his favor when taking control of the decks. Whether it’s running his own label “Something Happening Somewhere,” producing music, or DJing, you can feel that Nuno is utterly in love with what he does.
This love translates into an almost obsessive curiosity for fresh music. Whereas most DJs limit themselves to one style and stick with it, Nuno fuses different genres and creates a unique style and sound of his own. Combining that creative flexibility with a telepathic ability to read a dance floor, he is able to build the sort of memorable sets that only someone with years of experience can. From deep house to serene techno, old classics to modern gems, Nuno has it covered.
Dauwd (United Kingdom)
Dauwd creates music with complexity most contemporary producers shy away from. Vocal and instrumental stabs punctuate organic andevolving passages guided always by driving percussion and immaculate low-end production. His productions are full and intricate with a wealth of sounds building warm atmospheres that are unusual within dance music.
Dauwd has developed a unique live show working with their new Push controller and live instrumentation. His productions are full and intricate with a wealth of sounds building warm atmospheres that are unusual within dance music.
Elektro Guzzi (Vienna)
As digital as they may sound, they couldn't be more analogue, producing and performing with the most classic of all setups: bass, guitar, and drums. But however traditional they may look as a band, they certainly do not sound like one.
Elektro Guzzi are interested in structure. They produce and perform like any modern electronic producer and performer wanting that every element of a track is exactly where it is intended to be. There is no computer backup material they prepared earlier, no loops and things, no overdubs. However hard it is to believe, what you hear is 100% live.
Edgar Tones & The Su’sis (Berlin – Vienna)
it’s not serious music … It’s fun. It’s amusing. It’s grotesque but tasty.
It’s both simple and sophisticated, spiced with some enchanting music flavours.
It’s exciting and entertaining and there’s nothing straightfaced about it. Or perhaps there is? What it definitely is, is about cheerful faces bouncing along with the groove. And with that, mission accomplished!
Mark E (England)
The music of Mark E is overwhelmingly deliberate, and in that sense it’s quintessential house—unswerving, mechanistic, intoxicatingly simple.
And life imitates art: the Wolverhampton-reared, Birmingham-based DJ/producer has had a slow, steady ascension to his status as one of the genre’s most natural talents.
Mark’s first forays into production were, naturally, edits—warm, understated, and interestingly mellow, with tempos hovering.
Little Children (Sweden)
Little Children’s auditory sustenance fully personifies the essence of modern pop music’s history. No genre goes unexplored or escapes its distinctive formation. Essentially, Little Children has established an original and sensational standard within music’s modern empire.
The new album “Walk Within” is unmistakably richer than ever. Whether Little Children’s music invites you to dance as the first single “By Your Side” or delve into one of the coveted hymn-like tracks such as “Walk Within” is a modern testament to a virtually perfected art form in music.

Standing out by its originality & quality it mixes artistic projects with a hedonistic spirit. In this niche the night has grown, occupying larger venues in the old center of Sao Paulo. Viral online promotion and interaction of the public made Voodoohop becomeone of the most friendly, hyped and popular new parties to emerge. Unique beats along with soulful lyrics create an harmonic melody.. London producer and multi-instrumentalist Tropics, explores electronic music's more chilled-out spaces with an almost eerie sense of calm and control, and his new album, Rapture, is the latest evidence of his talents.

He began his DJing career playing jazz and brasil in several clubs in Tokyo. With the help of his diverse taste of music, he defied the musical trends of the city and managed to be known as one of the very few creative DJs in Turkey.
Joint ventures with names such as Bugge Wesseltoft or Ilhan Ersahin continue to prove that Yakuza can easily bridge the gap between dj-ing and live music. A series of bootleg edits by Dj Yakuza are currently gracing the international airwaves, getting support by luminaries such as Gilles Peterson and Rob Luis among others.
Having a rather independent style among too many genres, STYLE-IST owes his unique, freestyle and eclectic approach to mixing styles to his great passion for music since his childhood years.
He believes music is the best tool for freeing one’s sprit, the only way of expressing himself by being the only possible lifestyle he can have. He owes this to the continuous and limitless presence of music in his life, without being bound to a single genre or style.

Born in Istanbul, she found herself playing as a DJ due to her passion for music. It is this passion that has made her wake up eager to discover new tracks and sounds everyday since her childhood. Her greatest joy is to close her eyes to lay a foundation to her music.
Merve's music is intense, colorful and fluid. Always influenced by the feelings of her journey, it is not surprising that her music is full of great vibes as well as a deep feeling of melancholia. She believes it is important to tell a different story every time she plays.
Music being her therapy, passion and drug, it is the expansion of space between the deepest and highest tonalities with which she creates the space to breath, be and dance, mostly based on Slomo, Disco and Nu sounds, yet flirting with culturally variant till adverse soundscapes.
Purity, clarity, lightness and the ultimate belief that the unique frequency where people can meet is LOVE, her gigs can be summed up as feel good serotonin injections without any worries of genre.
Oceanvs Orientalis is a collective formation which aims to challenge the aesthetic perception in electronic music. It may feature itself as a band or as a one-man action.
Despite of being an electronic-based formation -due to practical reasons- at the moment, it intends to transform into a dance (to move the body and feet to music) orchestra where each instrument will be played by its own instrumentalist.
